Mum was off out somewhere and had a bad hand, so she asked me to do her coat up for her.

I did so and - because I was in a silly mood - I did it up as far as it would go. She then said "Enough! I'm not autistic!" (She does, however, suffer from depression and, as pro-cure as she might sound to people Ive talked to about such situations, she is a passionate autistic advocate who genuinely wants the best for her two kids, and has even presented talks in Finland about social care and advocacy for disabled people)

I know that she was making a joke but sometimes I wonder.....

However, she bitches to me - IN CONFIDENCE, naturally - about a fellow parent who is on some board she's on because he says stuff like "People with learning disabilities can't own houses [When many of the ones Mum knows actually can, and indeed DO]", and just generally moans and disrespects the very people he should be adovcating.

Did I mention that this guy has an autistic son himself?

I know its becaus many parents find the GF-CF diet heps their kids, but i hate the PETA adverts that say thers a link between cow milk and autism. it doesnt say what the link is and seems to say that cows milk causes autism which it doesnt
Ttheyve done adverts saying how wrong it is to kill animals and eat meat but they kill cats and dogs themselves. Its horribel.
if you love animals and you think PETA is a good charity, i think you need to reconsider and support another one.

I've got ADHD, I'm on the dole at the moment and looking for work.

On the UK Jobseekers website, you get some vacancies with this logo, which says "Positive About Disabled People": http://www.asra.org.uk/media/48757/positive-disabled.jpg

However, vacancies with this logo are few and far between, and there's no way of being able to search specifically just for employers with that logo.
